The fight against wildfires never stops, especially during the months of highest risk. And the continuous availability of IT services and applications used in managing this type of emergency is also a key factor in successfully tackling fires.
In places like Galicia, which covers a large area and is year after year among the Spanish regions with the most hectares affected, a new emergency alert can arrive at any time: at night, on a public holiday… And response and incident resolution times remain, logically, just as critical.

Comprehensive technical support for a response.

The coordination of all the resources used in firefighting requires a wide range of technological equipment. Tools such as the XeoCode application suite, which Vexiza helped to develop, incorporate various functionalities for viewing CCTV cameras, dispatching resources and fire simulators, among others.

Through our User Support Centre (USC), we provide IT support to the Fire Service of the Regional Ministry of Rural Affairs of the applications and other critical systems for emergency management and coordination.

Our team covers the needs of all the staff, offering technical assistance for both equipment and mobile devices and accompanying staff during drills and real operations in emergency situations.

Given the complexity of wildfires, there is also a wide variety of devices and data needs for each member of the operation. From TETRA communications equipment support to the management of positioning devices and updated maps related to water points for motor pumps or aerial resources, we provide coverage to the Central Coordination Centre, advanced command posts and air bases.

The response to a wildfire is a chain of actions where every minute counts. Therefore, our work focuses on ensuring that specialised personnel can make decisions quickly, with the confidence that information flows uninterrupted to the teams on the ground and coordination never stops.

The availability of wildfire-management information systems ensures that critical data reaches field teams without interruption
