This project looks forward to integrating several capabilities under the same platform, such as an interactive viewer that allows the addition of layers of geographic information, as well as the incorporation of different sections that enable users to access real-time information, historical data, or forecasts generated by different meteorological models. Additionally, it includes a wildfire simulator for observing the progression of fires over a specified time.
One of the primary challenges tackled in the project was the implementation of a real-time phenomena tracking service. Based on satellite, radar, or advanced lightning impact detection (a service in a lightning detection network) imagery, it is possible to forecast high-impact events like severe storms in the very near future

The forecastFUSION project has been co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Junta de Castilla y León, through ICE, with the aim of promoting the development of information and communication technologies in SMEs.
During the project, the Vexiza team created a web application to predict fire behavior by using meteorologically models
