In AIMAGE.XYZ, Vexiza’s team developed a web application pilot to enhance the capabilities of surveillance systems, such as traditional control cameras. This allows for increased possibilities in information analysis and processing, facilitating management and decision-making in various areas, including traditional ones like traffic control, surveillance, and monitoring, as well as emerging fields like forest fire management.

One of the explored capabilities in this project is geospatial analysis of observed data, investigating techniques that optimize the transformation of image data (pixels) into spatial information (coordinates). Various calculation processes were designed to enable bidirectional transformation of information, from image to terrain and vice versa.

One of the project’s main challenges was the automation and processing of information using object detection techniques. This aspect significantly enhanced the functionalities of traditional systems, providing analytical and even predictive capabilities based on sufficient data. This is where the proposed pilot’s value proposition lay in this project.
